Aurelia, are you okay?" Alex asked immediately after picking up. It didn't ring more than twice.
"I took a nap. Quinn is taking me to the doctor." Aurelia answeref.
"Okay.."
"Let's meet tomorrow."
Alex paused, "Are you sure?"
"Yes. I need to tell you something important. Let's have lunch together."
Alex hummed, "Okay. See you tomorrow. Give me a text when you reach home after the doctor's visit."
"Yes. Bye."
Alex hung up the phone and put it in his pocket. Then he faced the man who was being interrogated by the police.
Hours had passed but the man kept insisting that he didn't do anything wrong. Alex brought his lawyer to deal with him and get him the largest sentence possible.
