Darin and I anxiously waited outside the door while the doctors attended to Tina. A wave of panic washed over me, and somehow I was scared. Despite that pregnancy being a mistake, those babies were our flesh and blood, and we couldn’t let anything happen to them.
I looked at Darin, who had been quietly staring at the wall. I believed he was as worried and concerned as me.
The door opened, and the doctor walked out. “How is she, and the babies?” I asked as we hurriedly walked to him. The doctor sighed and stared at us with a frown.
