Tears welled up in my eyes as I listened, the weight of the past pressing heavily on my chest. “I don't remember any of it. It's like there's a blank space in my mind where those memories should be. How can I make things right if I don't even know what happened?”
Charity reached out, gently placing a hand on my shoulder. “The first step is understanding and accepting that you're not the villain in this story, Bella. You were a victim too, manipulated by your pain. As for making things right, it's a process. Also, the alphas have forgiven you because if they hadn’t, they wouldn’t be treating you nicely,” Charity assured me. I knew she was right, but I still couldn’t believe I almost killed them.
