“Don't mind them, they are not always like this,” Beta Edwin said to me while I nodded and continued eating. I understood why they were acting in such a manner; it was obvious they were irritated by my presence and wished not to see me around. The feeling hurt, but I have been hurt way more than this, so why should I let it break me?
“I will have to leave now, but I’ll come to pick you up by 6 PM. Get ready.” He flashed his usual charming smile at me before leaving the table. I continued glancing at him until he left. With the way things are, it was obvious Beta Edwin was so different from the triplets and obviously, the triplets haven’t told him the truth yet. Maybe if they did, he would dislike me too.
