I rushed into my room, closed the door, and rested my back against it. My heart was pounding in my chest, and I had to hold my chest out of fear that it might burst. After much struggle, I composed myself, left the door, and walked over to the bed. Sitting on the bed, I recalled what had happened a few moments ago in the living room. I couldn’t believe that I wanted to kiss Darwin. I wished to taste his lips, and if I hadn’t left like I did, I would have done something so stupid.
