Keith woke up when he heard his phone rang. He looks beside him and smiled at the sight of Vale’s sleeping figure.
“Princess, wake up.” he touched her cheek gently.
Vale moved a little and mumbled sleepily and slept back. Keith chuckled and slowly sat up, reaching for his phone on the table.
Caleb’s name lit up on his phone screen.
He slid his finger across the screen and put the phone on his ear, “Yeah?”
“It’s 15 minutes before midnight, have you found her?” his tone was cold.
Keith looked at the clock on his phone screen, cursing when he saw that Caleb was right.
“Fine, fine... I’m coming back, I’m on my way. No need to worry mom.” he emphasised at the word mom.
“I asked you a question, Keith!” Caleb shouted at him.
Keith grimaced and rub his temple before hanging up.
