Willis rushed into the kitchen startling everyone at the table, “we need to go.”
“What happened?” Clint asked, “did something happen during the shutdown?”
“There’s a girl outside the barrier,” Devin explained, stepping into the room, “and that invisible wall is a lot closer than we thought.”
“Get all your things together and meet in the lobby. We’re leaving now,” Willis ordered, “go now.”
Tucker, Clint, and the twins rushed out the door, following Willis’s directions. Dallas waited til they were gone to question Willis further, “was it just the one?”
“We only saw one.”
“Do you want me to go scout? See if there’s more?”
“No,” Willis started repacking the bags he’d laid out earlier for food, “we just need to go. I don’t want anyone engaging them unless we have to.”
