The full moon hung heavy and luminous over Silvermoon territory, bathing everything in silver light. The bonfire crackled and roared at the center of the clearing, sending sparks spiraling up toward the stars. Music filled the air, drums, laughter, howls of joy from wolves who'd shifted to run beneath the Goddess's light. I stood near the fire, a cup of spiced cider warming my hands, and felt something I hadn't experienced in so long I'd almost forgotten what it was called. Happiness.
