Hugh followed his relatives back to the main hall he’d been in the day before. He was not anxious to be back in a courtroom—on any planet.
The Great Hall was packed with people, grouped by color and symbol. Representatives of all the houses appeared to be here and a sense of anticipation filled the air.
“Ardan Hubert,” the crowd murmured as he strode past them, setting his nerves on edge.
He leaned toward his brother. Just exactly whose trial is this?
