Hugh returned to Phoenix, exhausted from touring the safe houses and his battles with Kat. The emotional toll of dealing with everything was huge.
He sat with Dale on the lanai, ruminating over how to catch an explosive Super.
“Maybe a dampening field of some sort,” Hugh proposed. “Like the ones on the holding cells. They worked well on Elijah’s home, and I know the Furies have gotten a lot of mileage out of them.”
Dale scratched his head. “We could make a portable one of some sort, but I’m not sure how well technology will travel through the portal. It could short everything out.”
