Emma went to meet her bank manager for the loan, but the bank manager was only able to give her five hundred thousandloan saying that her income is not much and he would not want her to lose her house because of the loan, so had no option than to take it like that, although was expecting to get more than that. The next day she was directed to alpha estate when she was looking for vacant store that Kate could use, the store she saw there was very nice and the estate is occupied by rich men and well to do families. Kate could sell baby clothes and toys for any price and no one would mind in this estate. She also helped Kate order for the goods like baby clothes, diapers, toys and some others. She painted and set up the store, brought carpenter that fixed the shelfs for display of products within few days she got everything ready. When she had put everything in place, she then left to meet Kate and inform her that her shop is ready.
Kate was allowed to take her son home on the condition that they get his drugs for him so he won’t have any issue during his stay at home. She and her son got to spend quality time together and bonded like never before. Zika’s state of health seems to be in perfect condition throughout those few days. On this day they were at home playing a ludo game when Emma entered, she was so close to the family so she had her own key. Zika saw her immediately and stopped playing the game. He rushed to hug her.
“Welcome Aunty Emma.”
“Thank you my darling, how are you doing.”
“Am fine.”
“That’s good, guess what.”
“You bought something for me.”
“Haa! Zika you too like gift.”
Surprised Emma said “Wow! My baby guessed well. Yes I got something for you, open my bag and check.”.
“Thank you Aunty.”
he gave her a peck and rushed to check the bag.
“Kate my dear am sorry that I have not been able to visit you for a while now, I have been really busy that’s why.”
Kate looking at the friend apologizing for not visiting wonders what type of person she is, “It’s okay Emma u don’t have to come here every day, that would be stressful to you.”
Emma shaking her head in disagreement
“Please I need to, you and Zika are my only family so allow me take care of you.
“Okay I give up, arguing with you does not always work in my favor.”
“Thank God you know, next time don’t argue with me. Can you accompany me somewhere please.”
“Where are we going to?”
“You will see it when we get there but it’s not somewhere bad so put your mind to rest.”
Kate still looking at Emma suspiciously got up and said “Alright let me change to something better.”
While Kate went to change her clothes, Emma went in search of Zika, She saw him eating meat-pie, part of the things she bought for him on her way here. They both began to chat, Zika told her how they spent their day, he told her of the games he played with his mother and emerged the winner. While they were still chatting, Kate came out dressed in a white gown
“Let’s go.”
“Zika bye see you later.”
“Zika remember, stay indoors no going out if I see you outside when I come back, I will be angry.”
“Okay mummy I won’t.”
She and Kate left in her car. They drove to alpha estate, she wanted to surprise her with the already arranged store. On Alpha estate, she stopped in-front of a building that looks like no one leave there. Kate was wondering why she brought her to the place, was looking around in-order to get her answers. She went and open one of what looks like a*****e there, Kate was still looking at her without saying a word. The shop she opened was looking very good, I was neatly arranged and the goods were displayed properly.
“I wish this is my shop.”
Kate wished in her heart. Emma went as far as entering
“Come in.”
Kate went inside although she was a little scared that they might be trespassing,
“what are we doing here, is this not someone‘s shop that you just opened like this.”
“Yes it’s someone’s shop and I also know that the owner of the shop won’t do anything once she learns am the one that trespassed In her shop.”
“Oh! It’s even a woman’s Shop, please come out from this shop to avoid insults.”
Emma was busy laughIng at her all these while, “Kate check these goods and the setting do you like it?”
“Did you say like, I love it like everything about this shop, starting from the Products itself, the Choice of paint and how the goods are displayed. I just wish I would be able to design my shop like this when I start my own business.”
“What do you mean by when you get a shop, I thought you already have a shop or do you want to have two?”
“Me, have a shop from where? Are you being serious right now or you want to mock me?”
“Ha! Why are you talking like this, you know I can’t do that. I honestly thought u already have a shop, Wait if you don’t have a shop, who then owns this one?”
Kate was lost for a moment; she was just looking at Emma confused. What does she mean that the she brought her to belongs to her? Is it mockery or what?
“How do you mean.”
“What I mean is that this shop belongs to you Kate, remember the business we discussed that you would start, this is it.”
“Is a lie.”
“Am serious, within those days that I didn’t come to your place, I was busy getting this shop ready.”
Out of happiness, Kate jumps up and hugged her so tight, she was already in tears, “What would I have done without you, my God will replenish your pocket.”.
“Enough of this emotional moment let’s go and celebrate this progress.
They both drove out to celebrate
