Forced Marriage To The Don

One Year Anniversary

Adison was busy working on the flowers as the front door open, thinking it was Gino she left it alone. For the entire year of the marriage she hardly saw Dominic, she stop waiting for him at nights she became depressed for half of the year but always hid it well and Gino was there making her laugh and smile in a way she lean on him for support even though nobody knew what she was going through but Gino knew he just didn't confront her about it. Adison didn't hear any sounds after the door open so she stop her work.

"Gino?" Adison called out

She turn and Dominic was coming down the stairs taking her by surprise a bit, Dominic heard Adison call out for Gino's name so when he looked at her she was standing next to flowers looking at him.

"Sorry I thought you were Gino" Adison said

Dominic nodded his head, he finally got over his heartache of Tabitha it was still a sore spot but all that work kind of push it down and the fact that she yelled at him that night telling him to leave her alone and go back to her sister. Adison went back to arraging the flowers as Dominic went into the kitchen in front of her.

"I was thinking we should take the honeymoon" Dominic said

Adison stop cutting the flowers, she then began again.

"I can't I made plans for the next three months. Maybe next time" Adison said

Dominic looked at her as she was placing the flowers in the vase.

"My mother wants to throw us an anniversary party this weekend" Dominic said

"Yes she informed me last week, everything is already planned" Adison said

"I see" Dominic said

Adison kept working on the flower as the front door open.

"Addie!" Gino called out

"In the kitchen" Adison yelled back

Dominic raised his brow as he saw Gino walk in.

"Oh, hey bro didn't know you were back. How was the business trip?" Gino asked

"Good" Dominic said

"I just need to add water and we can go" Adison said

"Alright better hurry before Lilly comes in and starts bossing us around" Gino said

Adison chuckled as she went towards the sink as Dominic moved away.

"Where you guys headed?" Dominic asked

"Oh, our firend Lilly scored us some Lakers game tickets front row behind the players" Gino said

"I didn't know you were into basketball" Dominic said

"Yeah well Lilly is were just going because she didn't want to go alone" Gino said

"Okay all finished" Adison said smiling

She place the flower on the island and went to grab her purse and jacket.

"Great see you Dom" Gino said

Dominic nodded his head as went towards the window and saw them get in the car as they left. Dominic looked at the time as it was almost midnight he sat there holding his drink as he looked towards the front door he was about to get up when he heard a car pull up he sat back down, he waited but nobody came in then finally he heard laughing and more then one footsteps coming up the front door he frown but the door open. And somebody falling Dominic got up from his seat as he walked over.

"Gino" Adison sigh out

Gino was laughing on the floor.

"What happened?" Dominic said

Adison looked up seeing Dominic looking at them.

"Gino got drunk at the game took us awhile to get him in the car" Adison said

Adison went to help Gino up as Dominic down his drink and went to get his brother up leaning on him.

"Brother" Gino smiled

"Your piss drunk" Dominic said

"Nope I feel good. Pretty Addie" Gino said smiling to Adison

Adison chuckled out

"Let's get you to bed okay" Adison said

"Okay, I'll listen to you" Gino said

Dominic watch the two interact as they laid Gino in one of the guest room, Adison covered him with a blanket before she left the room and going back to their room. Dominic stood by looking at his brother and shaking his head as he turn and closed the door he went back to his room when he heard the shower on in the bathroom, he laid on the bed but he already saw the pillow was in the middle of them. Dominic was in deep thought as Adison came out of the bathroom changed she was tired from the day she went to her side of the bed before going to sleep, when Dominic came back to his senses he saw Adison already sleeping away he didn't fall asleep right away as too much was on his mind.

"Can you turn the light off?" Adison asked

Dominic looked towards her as she looked back at him. Domini nodded his head as he turn his light off but he was still up just thinking about many stuff about the past year like he does he sigh out as he laid down and finally closing his eyes to fall asleep.

"Morning" Gino said

Adison looked up from her breakfast as she smiled at him.

"Someone is chipper" Adison said

"Yeah well I slept like a baby" Gino said

Dominic cleared his throat as he went into the dinning hall he didn't know he slept so much.

"Morning bro" Gino said

"Yeah" Dominic said

He went to go sit down.

"So what are the plans for today?" Gino asked

"Just tend to the garden the planners will be coming in the afternoon" Adison said

"Is the party here?" Dominic asked

"Yes, your mother thought it was a good idea" Adison said

"I for one am looking forward to the party, I liked the way you and mom did dad's birthday party when are you going to through me a party like that?" Gino asked

Dominic sat there as he listen to their conversation as they talked and ate he just ate his breakfast like he always does the past year but then he thought again he never had breakfast with Adison only once or twice every two months he looked at the two as they were smiling and talking with each other he felt like on the outs.
