Cathy’s POV The morning sun filtered through the blinds of my apartment, casting long streaks of light across the floor. I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the collar of my blouse, my mind still lingering on the conversation I’d had with Tyrell the night before. His confession about Elena had shaken me, but it had also deepened my understanding of him. He carried so much guilt, so much pain, and yet he still chose to protect me, to care for me.
