With the single shaft of light behind him now out of sight, Astron felt his way along the passage in complete darkness. Like all Alvarosaurs, he had superb night vision, but this blackness was impossible. He turned his eyes left, right, and all around, but saw nothing. He wondered if perhaps a torch would not have been a bad idea after all, but there was little enough space as it was, and thus air.
