Acting Begins

2 months had passed since Jaxon woke up in Aiden's body. He was released from the hospital a week ago and is now living in Aiden's house.

In the two months he is resting, Jaxon was skimming through the script of the movie and series he will be a part of. Jaxon mostly focused on the movie since it will be filmed first.

The movie, entitled "Carrier" is a thriller movie. His character, Adam was a minor role. Adam is set as a psychopath, a serial murderer authorities have been looking for a long time.

After reading the whole thing, he can't help but criticize his characters ending.

Adam, in the movie died after he let one of his victim escape. He was then found by the authorities and was killed in the process of arresting him.

This is dumb.

Well it's a movie nonetheless.

"Aiden, are you ready?"

His manager, Jonas, peeked at the door of his room.

"Yes."

Driving from his house to the set lasted for half an hour.

When they arrived, the whole production team was looking at Jaxon strangely, then whisper to themselves.

Jaxon didn't pay them any attention and went straight to the strict looking director.

"Good morning, Mr. Taylor. I'm Jonas, Aiden's manager." He shook hands with the director.

On the other hand, Jaxon bowed his head slightly as greetings.

The filming of the movie started a week ago and his role's first appearance would be in today's filming.

Jonas and Jaxon, after greeting the director and his two assistants, were guided to their resting space.

A chair with Aiden's name plastered on the back is where Jaxon sat. He once again read the script.

ABANDONED BUILDING

In the middle of nowhere

It was night time and all the lights at the building was turned off. Inside the room, a sound of metal piece screeching echoed.

"Hmm~ hmm~"

The humming of the man whose making the screeching noise by scraping a knife to the wall can also be heard.

"I'll start counting to ten. If I found you it's over~" The man with a knife said in a sing-song voice. There was a hint of laughter in his voice as if he is enjoying this moment.

"One ... Two ... "

His cold voice added the chilly feeling in the dark building.

That man is Adam, a psychopath murderer who finds pleasure in killing innocent and weak people. He enjoys the feeling of his prey desperately trying to survive. The despair and hopelessness he sees on his targets' eyes when they found no way out, was bliss to him.

He leisurely walk up stairs and checked every room. Acting as if he didn't know where his kidnapped victim was hiding.

"Eight ... Nine ...."

He went to the first room he passed by earlier and stood infront of a wooden cabinet. Using his knife, he slightly scaped its door.

"Ten~"

Adam stopped talking and smile.

He then forcefully opened the cabinet door. "Found you~"

The man smiled at the shivering woman crouching at the corner of the cabinet.

His smile was so sinister and creepy, that it made even the people watching this scene goosebumps.

" ... C- cut!" Mr. Taylor stuttered as he shouted.

That .... was an amazing scene.

Aiden's acting was so realistic, like he's really enjoying what he was doing, watching his scared and shivering prey.

Just like a real psychopath. A killer.

His ad-lib, him using the knife to add intensity to the scene, his smile, his expression. The way he delivered his lines.

Everything about his part was perfect. It was like he really is Adam.

'With this level of talent, why is he rotting in minor roles?'

The director glanced at Aiden who is now talking to his manager. Based on the manager's reaction, even he is surprised at Aiden's performance.

'Why is a gem like him ... If he is given a chance and he uses his talent efficiently, there's no doubt he'll become a star overshadowing every actors.'

"Aiden!"

After his scene was filmed, Jaxon went to his manager's side.

"Does being amnesiac made your acting better?" His manager was wide eyed as he said that. "Your acting before was ... I'm sorry but it was trash. Cannot be recycled let alone be reused."

Jaxon cannot refute Jonas' statement.

In the last 2 months, Jaxon, to know more about Aiden's acting skills, his personality and mannerisms, watch every job Aiden has done so far. For his first 3 jobs, he was doing fine. His acting was passable though he kinda look awkward.

But his 4th until his last acting project was a total crap. His acting skill suddenly decline.

'How can he get those minor roles with his level of ability? And he even wanted to be part of a multi awarded directors' productions?'

Jaxon internally sighed.

He looked at Jonas whose eyes where twinkling.

W-what now?

"Amnesia is the best!" Jonas' whispered.

Office of the President

"Marina, for how long are you going to loiter around my office?"

The man sitting infront of a pile of paperworks looked at the woman sitting, no, laying on his sofa.

The woman, Marina, was busy scrolling through her phone and answer without sparing him a glance.

"Oh come on, Kuya. Don't mind me and just do your work."

"I wish I could just do that but..." He looked at her cousin "Marina, your noise is distracting me."

Marina pouted at him.

"By the way, Kuya. Do you remember Aiden Gale?" Marina sat up at look behind her where the man was sitting.

The man raised one of his eyebrows. "Aiden Gale? Who's that?"

"Ugh!" Marina grunted. "After ruining him personally, you can't even remember his name?"

Well that man ruined countless people's lives who crossed the line so how could he remember each and everyone of them?

"That man! The actor who wanted to started a scandal with my name?"

The man was still frowning. He can't really remember the man she's referring to.

"Ugh, seriously." Marina stood up and went in front of his desk. She then raised her phone to his face. "This man!"

On her phone's screen was a handsome man with a somewhat mischievous smile on his face.

"Ahh. That trash."

Marina twitched her eyebrow upon hearing him. "Anyways, he eventually got to the production you where sponsoring for. Apparently that project was what he's aiming for when he decided to do s**t using my me."

"So? What do you what me to do?" The man lowered his head and continue doing his paperworks.

"Nothing. I just want to tell you."

"You don't want me to ask the director to fire him?"

"No. Actually, rumor says that he's suffering from amnesia."

He nodded. The man didn't show any interest in his cousin's words.

"But the most important thing is that, after being amnesiac, Aiden Gale's skill in acting improved drastically."

"Can amnesia do that?" He nonchalantly asked.

"Of course not, I think? But isn't it interesting? A crap of an actor, after severing his head and having amnesia became a talented actor?" She crossed her arms around her chest. "It can be made into a movie." She then laughed.

"Isn't it more plausible to think he had his shits together after the humiliation he got and decided to act more seriously?"

"Hmm. That can happen but do you think 2 months of training can make terrible actor into a skilled one?"

The man raised his head and shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe? I dunno."

He's not interested in someone who tried to use his cousin's fame and name. If given a chance, he's rather ruin him. That bastard who tried to use Marina to create a scandal for himself, he is willing to ruin his life. No one has the right to do that, especially to his blood relatives.

Thankfully, before that bastard's plan succeed, Pathos Entertainment was able to stop it. If not, he's not sure what he'll do to that bastard.

The man sighed and focused himself on the pile of documents waiting for his approval.
