“Don’t be a mess for Liam,” Dre’s mother warned her for the hundredth time in an hour. Dre was already in the worst mood to hear it. She looked at her mother as if she knew the man’s true nature, but chose not to speak. She simply nodded as Liam came downstairs in all his glory.
