Dre felt nervous, realising no one was accompanying them.
Soon, the road became empty, as if they were heading deep into the woods. She knew she had pushed Liam too far this time. After the animalistic behaviour he had shown in the club, she realised she had never truly known this side of him.
He had never raised his voice at her since childhood, but today he had almost killed a man. She had always thought he was weak, someone who couldn’t stand up for himself—but today, he had proved otherwise. Somehow, he had shown her exactly what she was dealing with.
