Corbin’s POV Damn. Damn damn damn. I let out a long breath as I stare up at the ceiling above my bed. Beside me, Marge sleeps peacefully curled beneath the blankets while moonlight spills softly through the bedroom windows. Lucky her. Me? I’ve officially given up on sleep. Again. I slowly turn my head toward the clock sitting on the nightstand. Three a.m. Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. “Koda,” I mutter through the link with my wolf. “If you tell me to relax, I’m throwing us off a cliff.” My wolf snorts loudly. “You’re dramatic.” “I’m stressed.” “You’ve paced grooves into the floor already.” I sit upright with a groan while rubbing both hands down my face. The events from earlier keep replaying through my mind over and over again no matter how hard I try shutting my brain off
