I stirred in my sleep, getting abruptly woken up by the sound of my phone ringing.
Groaning and cursing under my breath, I opened my eyes to meet Violet next to him, arms wrapped around me, body pressed against mine.
Temporarily forgetting about the irritation from my phone ringing, I smiled at the sight and pressing her body closer to mine, placed a kiss on her forehead.
What I was willing to do to wake up like that every morning. To see her next to me, with a smile on her face while she slept so soundly. To know she was always going to be mine and was never going anywhere.
I was willing to go any lengths to have that dream become a reality for me.
