It didn’t take long before the elf that goes back to make a report returned and conveyed the decision of the elf queen.
“The queen said that she will meet with you. However, since she is now is doing something and couldn’t be interrupted, you will need to wait on the village first.”
“There’s no problem.”
After replying to the elf that seemed to be the leader of the guards, she nodded and signalled for me and Barnas to follow her.
“Ladies, I will escort these people inside. You will need to resume your duties.”
“Understood, guard leader.”
At first, I seemed confused as the direction that she walked is towards a tall tree. Looking at her approaching closer to the tree, she doesn’t have any intention to dodge or change direction. Maybe she is thinking of something and in a dazed state?
