CHAPTER SIX In A Dark Room A projector cast an image on the screen. Titus stood beside it, addressing the newly hired killers. "We're going to rescue an eight-year-old girl, long hair, blue eyes... She's my lord's daughter, so be careful." The screen displayed a picture of Kitty. "This is the rival drug lord holding his daughter captive, Brandon. He has significant influence in France, particularly the area around his mansion." The room fell silent. "Kill us? An eight-year-old girl?" one of the serial killers chuckled. Titus smirked. "Who do you think killed most of Brandon's men...?" Just then an ex-officer asked, "What's her name?" Titus forced a weak smile. "Just call her Kitty." "These people want no negotiation; they want the kid dead." He paused, his eyes scanning the room. "We also have a rival gang to contend with, the 'Dereks,' led by Amir, one of France's most notorious and wealthy gangsters." Just then, Grimm strode into the room, armed to the teeth and carrying a bag laden with an arsenal of guns and explosives. "Don't worry, I'll get my kid myself," He growled. "Ensure the Dereks don't join forces with the Brandons. We can't afford to have them double-team us." Titus began to protest, "But Boss, I've—" He cut him off, his voice firm and commanding. "Titus, I'll go myself. I'm not that weak. I was once their boss in killing. Nothing can stop me from reclaiming that title, especially now that they have Kitty." With a calculated movement, he holstered another pistol in his bulletproof vest, his eyes gleaming with a fierce resolve. The doorbell rang, shattering the tense silence. 🔔 His eyes narrowed as he checked the monitor connected to the cameras. His expression darkened at the sight of a young boy, flanked by ten heavily armed guards. "Escobar's son," he muttered. "Why did the guards let them in?" Grimm demanded, turning to Titus. Titus shrugged. "He attends the same school as Kitty, sir. And his dad isn't exactly your rival..." Before he could respond, another young boy arrived, accompanied by his own entourage of guards. His face turned thunderous. "Who the hell is this now? And why are they here with gangsters?" he thundered. "Duke's Son" "Duke's son?" Grimm's voice was laced with surprise. "What the hell is Duke's son doing here too? We haven't spoken in ages." Titus hesitated before speaking, "I guess they're both Kitty's classmates...and you know, boss, they might be into her?" His gaze turned icy, and Titus quickly added, "Maybe?" his voice tinged with caution. "How can that be possible?" He thundered. "This is only her first day at school!" With a swift motion, he instructed one of his henchmen, "Bring those boys in." The henchman's face twisted in anger, but he obediently marched to the door. As he opened it, the sound of raised voices filled the air. The two young boys were standing on the porch, engaged in a heated argument. "You backstabber! Why are you here?" Carl, Duke's son, sneered at Anthio. Anthio smirked. "You're here for the same reason, trying to be the hero." Carl's face reddened with anger. "What's your business? Stay away from Kitty!" He clenched his fists. "I'll tell you the same!" Anthio retorted. "Let's see who her father likes most." Carl's anger boiled over, but before he could lash out, a voice interrupted them. "Hey!!" the man yelled, pointing a gun at the boys. The guards followed suit, training their guns on the man. Carl and Anthio raised their hands in a calming gesture. "I'm looking for Mr. Grimm, my friend's dad," Anthio explained, smiling innocently. Carl frowned. "Your friend? She's my friend!" Anthio smirked. "You're a liar! I met her first!" The man rolled his eyes, frustrated, and slammed the door shut. Carl seethed. "See what you've caused!" Anthio faced him, unrepentant. "No, you caused it!" The guards intervened, exasperated. "Boss!!!" they yelled in unison. "What?" they both replied, then cursed at each other. "Stop copying me, you jerk!" Their anger boiled over, and they clenched their fists. Just then, Grimm appeared, his eyes narrowing at the commotion. "What's going on here?" he demanded. The boys turned to face him, adjusting their suits like suitors vying for his daughter's hand in marriage. His expression turned stern. "Who among you is her... boyfriend?" He swallowed hard, his eyes flashing with a warning: anyone who wants his daughter would go through him first. "They're pointing at each other," the henchman laughed at them. "No, it's him!" Carl accused, his finger jabbing towards Anthio. "Liar, it's you!" Anthio shot back, his face reddening in denial. Grimm's expression turned wry. "Oh, I see. Well, you and your guards can come in," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. ***************** 《6 HRS EARLIER!🕦》 {VIRR SCHOOL} Most of you would have been wondering if this was the right episode... 😊
