The sun was blazing outside. The heat made the air hazy and thick. There was no wind, but the hot summer breeze stirred up the fallen leaves from the trees. A few birds were singing in the distance. It wasn't much of a place for a picnic, but there were plenty of places that would make a more adequate setting. I was busy burying the seeds of sunflowers on the ground.
