This day started out amazing. I woke up to Zane showering kisses all over my body, making everything tingle.
That man had the smuggest smile as he made me c*m against his tongue. But it was all worth it when I made him fall apart as I returned the favor. Afterwards, he spoiled me with breakfast in bed and another org*sm in the shower.
That man was insatiable. I could hardly wait until we were fully mated, I thought to myself as I sat watching him get dressed.
He stood with his muscular back against me, with only a towel wrapped around his hips. His black hair was still wet and disheveled from our shower together. Calling him beautiful or handsome didn't really suit him. There was something wild about him.
With his defined jawline covered in a couple of days' old stubble, to his piercing eyes and full lips. Let's not talk about his strong arms and well-defined abs that made me want to lick them. It was fair to say that this Lycan was downright sexy and all man.
And what I wanted to do with what was hiding under that towel afterwards...
As if he could sense that my thoughts had fallen into the gutter, he turned around and gave me a devilish smirk before letting the towel fall to the ground. “Holy buttock…I mean Holy Goddess!” Zane roared in laughter while I pretty much went up in flames. “See something you like, little wildflower?” I tried to look as sophisticated as I could while swallowing my drool.
“I'm sure I don't know what you mean.” I said in the most nonchalant tone I could muster. Zane raised a cocky eyebrow at me.
“Is that so? In that case, let me refresh your memory.” He taunted as he turned around, stroking his already hard shaft.
I gulped, my pu*sy already drenched with my own excitement. I tried to maintain eye contact. Easier said than done.
“Are you sure you don't see anything you like, little wildcat? Zane snickered while invading my personal space, forcing me back on the bed. He crawled towards me, with a mischievous look in his eyes. “If I pull up your dress, will I find your panties soaked? Do you pu*sy weep for me, baby?” He groaned against my inner thigh as he moved upwards.
Goddess, I needed this Lycan to mate with me, I panted to myself. At that moment, I felt something deep within me pushing to come forward, and I purred deep in my throat, causing Zane's head to snap up. As I looked into his eyes, I could see the gold flecks of his Lycan. “Again.” He demanded with an even deeper voice than usual. "I don't know how I did it." He nipped at my thigh, growling.
I felt my pu*sy clench at the mere sound. But his eyes shone with something I hadn’t seen before, or maybe someone I hadn’t seen before?
“Who are you?” I asked, curious and trembling at the same time. He gave me a mischievous smirk before nipping at my thigh playfully. “My name is Cassian little mate.” His deep tone resounded straight thru my entire body down to my core.
He pulled up, hovered right above me, tilting his head as he looked down at me. “Do I scare you?” His eyes looked so hurt by the mere thought that my heart squeezed painfully. I calmly stroked his hair back. When my hand reached his face, he turned and kissed my palm lovingly. “No, Cassian. I´m not scared of you.” He closed his eyes, breathing in before he covered my body with his, leaving no air to be able to seep through. He nuzzled against my neck, licking and sucking on my marking spot.
I leaned to the side, giving him full access. He growled in return and nipped at me flirtatiously.
I let my hand travel over his muscular back. When I reached his sexy behind I couldn’t resist giving him a squeeze. Causing him to grind his hard co*k against my soaked panties. I moaned, wanting more. He pulled my hands over my head, holding me down while he continued his advances. A deep purr resounded from his chest, making my entire body tremble.
“Feel how much I want you. How much I need you. I have waited a lifetime for you, little mate.” He growled while grinding against me. “Then why haven’t you come forward until now, Cassian?” I asked, childishly hurt that Zane hadn’t talked about him and that Cassian hadn’t come forward until now. He pulled back, looking down at me.
“Don’t be sad, little mate. I can’t bear it.” He whimpered and leaned his forehead against mine before he pulled back again.
”Mine and Zane’s companionship is complicated. I was angry for a long time, thinking that he had ruined all our chances of being happy. I was depressed and lonely, rejecting Zane, cutting him off. I gave him strength in fights and healed him when needed, but other than that, we have had no contact with each other for 87 years. And then you were sick when we found you. I’ve put all my strength into getting your wolf to survive the ordeal and me and Zane have to work on our issues as well.” He admitted.
“What happened 87 years ago?” I asked, curious. I'd heard this mentioned before but figured Zane would tell me when he was ready, but he seemed to be avoiding the subject. “That is not my story to tell, little mate.” He sighed, trying to pull back from me, but I wrapped my legs around him, keeping him close. I rubbed my hands over his torso, studying his sorrowful expression.
Cassian had a vulnerability to him that made me want to nuzzle him and tell him that everything would be all right.
“I understand, Cassian. I am not upset with you. I just wished I had met you earlier, that’s all.”
He looked down at me as if trying to figure out if I was telling the truth. He must have seen the answer in my eyes because he broke into a relieved smile before leaning down and giving me a soft, sweet kiss.
“Let’s spend this day together in the forest and maybe that will help your wolf to come forward, hmm?” Cassian suggested.
“That sounds amazing” I squealed, jumping up from the bed to pull on a pair of leggings underneath my casual, navy blue, long-sleeved dress, all thoughts of my sexy naked mate forgotten. We walked hand in hand as we left our room five minutes later.
"Is Zane okay with you completely taking over for so long?" I asked, intrigued. Cassian turned to me with a smile so wide his fangs showed. Taking my breath away. “Hell no, he´s pissed. I love that almost as much as I love spending time with you, little mate.” He told me with a toothy grin. I laughed, shaking my head at his antics. On our way out of the pack-house, we met several half-naked warriors tumbling through the door, laughing and making jokes. “Zane, my man!” One warrior cheered as he approached us.
I could feel Cassian tense up. A low grumble could be heard deep within his chest as the warriors came closer.
“Nice to see the famous wildflower outside of her confinement. You´re quite the talk of the town, pretty lady.” Another said.
Shiitake Mushrooms! Using Zane's nickname for me isn´t a very good survival strategy. While I'm pretty sure two of them were checking me out, head to toe. Sh*t was about to hit the fan. Cassian roared so loudly that I'm pretty sure it could be heard by the entire pack. He was panting with anger. In pure instinct, I threw myself in front of him, taking his face between my hands, before his possessive rage made him do something he would regret later. His fangs had descended, and his eyes were almost black.
Definitely not good. The warriors were frozen in place, heads lowered in submission, as Ronan came running.
“What the hell is goi… Ohh Sh*t!!” Yeah, ohh sh*t.
“Cassian baby, look at me. They meant nothing by it.” I tried to placate him. But all I got as an acknowledgment was his hand that found its way to my nape, pulling me close to his solid frame as he kept giving them growls and death glares.
“Everybody, slowly back away. That´s Cassian in front of you. One of the fiercest Lycans in all the realms. Which means his possessiveness is in overdrive right now, because he has yet to mark his mate. Don´t get in his way.” Ronan explained.
“Cassian, take me to the woods. Please.” I pleaded. He relaxed a little bit before nuzzling my neck, giving my marking spot a swift kiss. All the warriors and even the alpha stood with their heads bowed as Cassian lifted me up in his arms, giving them all one last warning growl before running outside. He didn`t stop until we were deep in the forest.
“Is everything okay, Cassian?” I asked, hesitantly. He paced back and forth, growling.
“I don´t like the way they were looking at you. You are my mate. MINE!”
His possessiveness should scare me, but it had quite the opposite effect. I knew he would never hurt me.
It wasn't normal for werewolves to go this long without marking each other, and it was taking a toll on both of us.
“Baby, I´m all yours. Can´t we just forget about that little incident and just enjoy our day instead? Please?” I pleaded with my best doe eyes. He came forward and put two fingers under my chin, tilting it upwards.
“I know what you are doing, little mate.” He said with a knowing look, sounding calmer at least.
“The question is; is it working?” I sassed. He gave me a half smile followed by a sweet kiss.
“You could speak gibberish and I would still heel baby, only for you.” He sweet-talked, trailing his nose along my jawline.
“The fiercest Lycan in all the realm, would heel for me, huh?" I teased.
“Always baby, except when you´re standing on all fours, naked on the bed. Then I´m in charge.” He whispered in my ear, making me shiver with anticipation. Before I could reply, he backed away, pulling his t-shirt over his head.
“We are going for a ride, little mate.” He pulled his pants down. I barely had time to ogle him before his bones broke, transforming into a fierce Lycan. He stood over 7 feet tall. His fur was jet-black with sharp fearsome claws at the tips of his massive paws.
Cassian looked as ripped and powerful as his human counterpart, to say the least. I would be terrified if it weren’t for his eyes.
His beautiful eyes, that swirled in gold and looked just as vulnerable as they had when we laid in bed earlier.
He stood absolutely still, waiting for my reaction. I slowly moved towards him, studying all of him. I had never seen a Lycan before. But I couldn't imagine that there existed a more powerful specimen than him. He got down on all fours as I got closer.
I stroked his massive jaw, before proceeding to scratch behind his ears. A deep purr could be heard coming from his chest.
He gestured with his head for me to climb up. A bit clumsy but I managed to get up.
I held on for all I was worth as he started to trot off. After a while, I started to find my balance and he increased his pace.
The feeling of freedom and of his deep breath beneath me, gave me an inner peace I had never experienced before.
We spent hours in the forest. Listening to the sounds of all the animals moving around us and who were curiously looking up as we passed. Later, we stopped by the creek and watched the water swirl by in comfortable silence, just enjoying each other's company.
I couldn't have asked for a better day.
My wolf came forward and purred on several occasions. But the happiness was short-lived as she retreated again.
Cassian told me to have patience, healing took time, he said. I knew he was right, but I longed. I didn't even know the name of my wolf yet and I never got to see in the crystal clear water what we looked like.
Cassian had pulled back, letting Zane come forward again as he pulled his clothes back on. I smiled hesitantly at him.
"Are you very grumpy with Cassian?" I worried. He sighed and gave me a weak smile.
"No, he made you happy, and that makes me happy. I just wished me and him could be friends again," he admitted.
My heart ached for them both. He took my hand in his as we started walking back towards the pack-house.
That was when I heard it. "We will unite them again.” A soft feminine voice rang out in my head.
