It was breakfast time when Immerline noticed that Oona wasn’t at the table with them.
“Uh, where is Oona?” Immerline asked.
Alfonse looked up from the newspaper he was reading.
“Oona is outside,” he answered.
“Why? Did she eat already?”
Immerline asked again.
“I just went for a walk,”
Alfonse pointed at the back door, and Immerline saw Oona coming in.
“Where did you go?” Immerline whined.
Oona smiled at her and patted her head as she sat next to her.
“I just took a quick walk by the beach,”
Oona told her with a smile. Then she started putting more food on Immerline’s plate.
“You have to eat a lot, Immerline. Today is a special day,” she said.
“Yeah, today is your exam day. You have to fill your stomach with good food,” Alfonse added.
“I’m nervous,”
