Raising his head, he glances up at Gavin with a tearful expression. “I need you to take off these handcuffs first.” He says, causing Gavin to snort.
“Like hell, I will.”
“If you don’t take off the trapper I won’t be able to use my powers to pull the dagger out or lift the curse.” He says in anger, causing Gavin to turn to me with a questioning frown.
There was no way removing the trapper had to be an option, cause the moment we remove the cuffs suppressing his powers and keeping him trapped all hell will break loose.
Our only upper hand in this are the tools we brought for this rescue mission; and the fact that Felix worked on the inside, but still it wouldn’t be wise to take them off.
