My question seemed to catch her off-guard because she falters in her steps, I expected her to turn around and respond but she resumed walking until she disappears from view completely.
Baffled, I turn to find the girls and the Warlock staring at me. “Who’s Josh?” Candy asks, then Katrina responds with a frown.
“Her ex-boyfriend.”
Eyes wide, she glances at her before turning back to me. “He’s here, like in Edora here?” When I nod in response, her eyes only grow larger. “How the hell did that happen?”
Since I didn’t have the answer to that question I turn to the Warlock in expectation, but rather than respond he asks instead. “Have you decided on whether or not you’d like to join forces?”
“Not yet, you haven’t released our friends and neither have you responded to our questions.”
