A knock on my door startled me from my depressing thoughts and I quickly hurried to my feet, thinking it was the others bringing back possibly good news about their discussion with the royal family and their elders.
Instead, when I pull open my room door, I’m faced with the nauseating face of the distrustful bastard Prince of the Moon Kingdom.
“What do you want Edward?” I bark in anger.
“Hey now, is that any way to talk to the man you once professed unconditional love to?” He chuckles teasingly, a smirk tilted upon his lips.
Wiping the tears on my face in anger, I turned my back to him and walked back to my couch.
