Tae cried for close to an hour before she passed out in Drake's arms. He let her cry, he let her scream, he let her cuss and hit him. He realized that Tae never truly got to let everything out. For the simple fact that she didn't talk about, therefore she didn't accept the miscarriage for what it was. She kept everything in and bottled up, and Drake was no longer having it. He would no longer sit and watch his women hurt this much.
Drake sat on the floor holding onto Tae's body for dear life, he himself had lost track of time. He rocked back and forth, one hand on the back of her head, the other wrapped around her waist. He had been staring at the wall for 20 minutes before he realized it was 3am and Tae was completely passed out. She laid limp in his arms, safe, and comfortable. He cradled her as he stood to his feet, he laid her on the bed and folded one of the blankets over her body.
Drake walked around the bed to the reclining chairs in his room, he sat down watching Tae as she slept, he watched her breathing, the small twitches of her fingers, the slight moan she released when she moved. Drake had never experienced this. Ever. This was something completely new to him. He had never had feelings this strong for women. There were women that lasted longer than others, women that he still kept in touch with, women that he still cares for, women that he went through emotionally and mentally changing things with, but this, this was life-changing, he'd forever be attached with this women. Even when the others finally do cease to exist.
He finally stood up and walked to his bed, he slowly crawled in it making sure not to disturb her, Tae was heavily sleeping, the energy that she put into the breakdown completely drained her. She sunk in the bed laying there like a rock. Drake wrapped an arm around Tae's waist and breathed in the scent of her hair until he eventually passed out.

Cold air hit Drake's face from the air vents above his bed. His eyes fluttered open but he immediately looked down to see if Tae was still next to him. She laid in the same spot he left her in, still passed out, watermarks stained her cheeks, yet she looked so peaceful. Drake slid from his bed and made his way down the hall to the kitchen. Chubbs and OB sat having a conversation about ESPN running a certain play from a baseball game from last night.
"Good afternoon beautiful." his friend OB mockingly said batting his eyelashes at Drake, as a laugh came from Chubbs mouth.
"Shut up... You gotta start saying no homo after s**t like that." Drake said in a groggy voice, rubbing his eyes. He grabbed a bottled water from the fridge cracking the lid open. He tilted his head back taking large gulps of the water.
"I set a flight for Tae's mom and sister, I'ma pick them up from the airport in a few hours." Chubbs said as he scrolled through his phone. Drake downed the water, then went to grab another from the fridge.
"Alright, good good, thank you." Drake replied opening the second bottle of water.
"How she doing?" OB asked, this time his face serious, his voice with genuine concern. OB was a character, a clown, but he knew when and when not to be one. His personality was big, but he knew when it was time to be serious and drawback.
"She's fine, she'll be better once her mom and sister get here though, think she needs them a little more than she needs me right now." He said answering his friend then downing the second water. ON shook his head in agreement. He walked to the trash and threw both bottles away.
"She just tired of looking at yo ass all day, that's all." OB said under his breath, his voice full of sarcasm. Drake frowned as he flung one of the bottled water caps at his friend hitting him in the side of the neck.

As Chubbs pulled into the Estate, Drake stood waiting for Tae's mother and sister. Toya was the spitting image of Tae, she was a few inches shorter, and a shade darker in skin tone but they both shared the same hair, chinky eyes, and full lips, Drake followed Toya on i********: seeing her post photos of their mother, but once you were finally in the presence of the small Korean woman you were bound to have entertainment. Drake smiled at Toya as he pulled her into a hug.
"How was the flight?" He asked pulling away from her.
"I slept through it, so fine I guess." She answered shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly. "How's Tae?" She asked with frowned eyebrows.
"A little better, but she definitely needs you both." Drake said as he face began to sadden, remembering just hours ago he held her while she broke down on their bedroom floor. Toya shook her head she turned pulling her mother's hand to introduce her to Drake.
"Mama, this Aubrey Graham. Tae's boyfriend, this is our mom Yoonsue Heckard." She said as she held out her mother's hand. Her mother pulled Drake into a hug and smiled.
"Nice to meet you..... You call me Miss. Heckard or Mom.... Whatever work for you.... Where my daughter..... She ok.... She live here.... In this big house...... How she not get lost......" The small woman said, her Korean accent filling his ears, as he held her hands in his, Drake couldn't help but smile, it was one thing to hear her random never-ending questions but it was another thing to actually see her while she did it.
"She's fine, she doesn't know you're here, I wanted to surprise here, and at this moment I realize that I can't give your daughter the kind of love she would get from her mother at this moment. So that is why I had you flown in." Drake spoke looking down at the small woman. He held softly into her hands.
"You are veerrry genuine man.... You will be blessed for a long long time.... I see why my daughter love you so much..... You remind her of her father.... Very strong man, big man, broad man..... But very loving..... And soft to her..... Thank you." She spoke as she pulled Drake down into a hug she held him for a moment then released him, Drake led the two women into the house.
Tae had finally managed to get up and found safe haven in the movie theater, she sat Indian style in the middle chair her in the front row, her MacBook in her lap as she scrolled through the images of the up and coming winter collection of the OVO Clothing line. Drake led the women down to the theater the door remained open, Miss. Heckard smiled as she saw the top of her daughters head.
"Hey baby." Drake said as he slowly walked down the theater steps hand and hand with Tae's mother.
"Yea?" She answered not looking up, she continued scrolling.
"I got a surprise for you." Drake said finally stopping just above the final step he slowly pulled Miss. Heckard and placed her in front of him.
"What is it?" She asked still looking down, she pushed her reading glass up on her nose and leaned in closer to the screen.
"Hello my daughter." Tae's mother said a smile on her face as she stood in front of Drake her hand lapped over one another in front of her. As soon as Tae heard the voice she sprung up, almost dropping the MacBook on the floor.
"MAMA!!!!!!" She cried out as she ran for the small women and pulled her into a hug, Tae's smile was so wide it made her eyes shut as she clung onto her mother. Tae led her mother to sit down in one of the chairs, she kept looking at her as if she wasn't really there. As if she was dreaming.
"What are you doing here!?" Tae asked as she held her mother's hand.
"Aubrey tell me you need me..... So he fly me out here.... To take care of you..... He tell me you sad. " her authentic accent filled Tae's ears, she began to cry as she looked over to Drake who was standing watching the two women, Drake gave her a smile then winked his left eye, then turned to walk up the steps leaving them.

As laughter filled the restaurant for the first time in days Drake saw Tae keep a genuine smile on her face, she was back to her old self as her and her sister talked about growing up in New York she even spoke about her modeling career. Conversation flowed freely and it was only a matter of time before Tae's mother truly got started.
"I take care of kids all my life..... Look how good I do!" Tae's mother demanded looking at Tae with a serious look.
"Mama, I haven't lived with you since I was 17!" Tae said back with her brows frowned and her top lip turned up. That was all Tae's mother needed to get started.
"Exactly!!! ..... And look how good you turn out after you leave me..... You successful model..... Successful business woman..... You got successful boyfriend with job..... Not like Toya boyfriend.... Who drug dealer....." Tae's mother bragged as she started up Tae's eyes widened as she looked at her mom in embarrassment. Toya's mouth dropped open as she frowned at her mother.
"Mooommmmm my boyfriend is NOT a drug dealer!" She yelled back scowling at the small women. Miss. Heckard rolled her eyes at her youngest daughter.
"He IS drug dealer.... I know drug dealer when I see one.... He have all this money..... So much money..... But never at work.... Always home.... Always home..... " she yelled back at her daughter, Toya's mouth still wide open, she turned her attention onto Drake and Tae.
"At lease Tae boyfriend have real job..... I see him at work..... I turn on tv... He at work..... I turn on radio..... He at work..... I turn on Google.... He at work....." The small woman continued by now Tae was punching the brim of her nose with her thumb and index finger with her eyes closed shaking her head side to side, she was mouthing to herself "oh my god" Drake, Oliver, and Chubbs could no longer hold in their laughter.
"You do good for yourself after you leave.....You do beauty pageants..... You Miss. Korea..... Miss. Trinidad.... You find man that successful just like you...." She continued. The men sat across from her almost in tears. As embarrassed as Tae was, this was what she needed. She needed to be surrounded by life, life as it went, as it moved freely, she had forced herself in the housekeeping herself in her own little hell and that's not what life was about. She needed to be around her mother's constant diarrhea of the mouth, around her sister's constant whining for her mother to stop talking, around Drake and his friends laughing. This was her life and this was how it was supposed to be at this moment.
