Chapter 2

A loud beeping went off filling Tae's ears. She smacked her lips pulling the extra pillow next to her over her face. "OMG! I JUST WENT TO SLEEP! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" 8:30 am had come quicker than she wanted it and was regretting taking that Visual Director's position at Supreme clothing line. The particular position wasn't new, her experience in fashion and lengthy career in high fashion modeling made her fit right in with the industry. Her decision in taking a break from modeling, walking runways, and being physical art came randomly but for her was very much needed, looking for a change in the title she carried. She laid in her bed for a moment, her head pounded from last nights partying, she sluggishly threw her legs over the side of the bed and lifted her body which felt heavier than what it really was yet she still managed to stand up, walking slowly while dragging her feet across the high gloss cherry wood floors of her LA condo. The bathroom tile was cold as she made her way to the sink, opening the medicine cabinet desperately reaching for a bottle of ibuprofen, she struggled in only getting 2 pills out, her eyes still slightly closed not yet adjusted to the bright sunlight that forced its way through the slits in the curtains. She huffed at a thick strand of hair that fell in her face and popped the two pills in her mouth, grabbing a small paper cup from the cabinet, filling it with cold water and downing it like a shot of vodka. She grabbed the black square car key and the huge soft-grey leather MK handbag and made her way to the parking garage. LA's infamous traffic would stay true to itself and make every native late to where ever they needed to be. She parked on the side of the building and made her way in the Supreme clothing store. The tall clear heavy doors were both held open by stands at the bottom, music came from speakers in all four corners of the store loud enough to be heard outside of the building, the atmosphere had always been so laid back, one thing that Tae never wanted to change. "There she is!" Nate looked up from the computer screen giving Tae a welcoming smile. His red t-shirt with bright white letters in Supreme written across it looked like he just unfolded from the table and tossed it over his body, his black baggy cargo shorts were meant to have a 'worn down' look. "I take it you got a hangover? Considering you coming in her an hour late!" Nate began laughing as Tae made her way towards the back, she shot Nate a scowl, his laugh was loud as he readjusted his fitted hat on his head showing off a left arm covered in a sleeve of tattoos from memorable cartoons characters of the '90s. "Shut up, before I fire you." She playfully hissed at him. "There's a huge shipment in the back by the way, you should probably wait till you figured that out before you fire me!" He yelled out as she stepped further into the back. She looked down at the several large cardboard boxes lined up against the wall. A new season meant a new look, the urban line rarely participated in fashion shows, or anything involving fashion week, one aspect she wasn't used to, but quickly began to like. She was used to the chaos that surrounded that week and found herself as a model for several lines in a 72-hour span. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We ready? Where's Drake? We gotta go! LA traffic is going to kill us!" Drake's trust in Oliver was literally with everything pertaining to his career and even personal life. There was nothing he didn't talk to or ask advice about from him. Oliver spent most his time with the image and clothing that carried the OVO logo, in their earlier years he held the management title. He held multiple pieces of paper in his hands as the crew made their way to a line of 4 black Tahoe SUV's. Drake came running down the steps holding his phones in one hand and his MacBook in the other. "I thought I was going to have to send OB out to perform all your shit." Oliver yelled at Drake shaking his head as he ran past him to get in the 1st SUV. "While I'd love to be a help but I'm a bit more expensive, however... I will have my people call your people though." OB interrupted as he heard his name being said. The gates of the YOLO Estate opened and the line of SUV's made their way to the highways of LA. "Aye! Can we stop at Supreme so I could get some plain black tees!?" Oliver looked over his shoulder towards the backseat, he shot him a cold look and shook his head once again. Oliver looked down at his watch them looked out the front windshield to serve the traffic they were in, he scanned over it for a few, then replied with a firm yes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tae looked up from the papers she was looking at and glanced outside the front of the store, a line of black SUV's pulled up to the curb, she frowned and turned to Nate's direction. Who was changing out racks of crew necks. "Did we get any calls about any celebrities coming through this week?" She asked Nate with a confused look, whenever a line of black SUV's pulled up anywhere in LA chances are it was some rapper and his crew coming to do some type of damage and clean house. "Nah, not that I know of." Nate replied looking back at her, he turned his head to look out the window to see what was going on. Tae saw Chubbs hop out the front seat of the SUV and that's all she needed to know. Still looking at the direction of the front window. She firmly said to Nate. "Get ready to lock the doors after these guys walk in."
