The first day Max and Lance peacefully surveyed the island, the place was not as large as the colony though it was five times the size of the mountain camp.
It allowed them plenty of time to survey the area and check on any maintenance needed within the facilities. Supplies were also plenty and it seems the whole place was also self sustaining as there were a few working farms.
It seemed like the whole place has been used for a suitable amount of time as it was well maintained.
On the second day they went on the dead land to check on the surrounding mountains, they found several stragglers but besides that they didn’t find any horde. As if the place had always been sweep of the infected every now and so, the area was located south of the lake where the tribe resided.
