The two of them were gasping for air, yet none of them stopped, they kept running as fast as they could through the mountain top. Not caring of the dangers the rainfall was causing within their paths.
It was a race against time and it was clear that they were at a disadvantage. Thought they were taking the shortest route back to the camp, there was the part that they needed to rest a very now and then in order to regain their strength, unlike the horde who were tirelessly moving forward.
“Lance, you think we’ll get there in time?” Ariel says as they start slowing down.
He was still panting but decided to answer. “I hope so. How long have we been gone?”
“About two days now.” Ariel looked at the sky to checked if the sun was about come out of the clouds.
