“Max stop!” Lance shouted.
Max immediately went into a halt before he could even pounce on one of the figures hiding within the trees. It was as if he had suddenly lost control of his legs just from hearing his friends voice.
“They’re everywhere.” Ariel was now a bit shaken from the men that were now starting to come out from the shadows.
Max was still on alert holding his swords ready to attack the shrouded beings who have managed to surround them, if ever the need arises. He will not let his friends be in danger from these unknown creatures.
