Sofia POV:
I was sitting in my office, working on my laptop when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in" I yelled, not taking my eyes of my laptop
"Are you busy? I will come again" Ric said and turned to leave
"What happened Ric? I am free" I said and turned off my laptop to give my full attention to our conversation.
He turned to face me and I could tell the he is nervous.
"What happened are you all nervous?" I asked
"A new student is enrolling in our school and......." he said and suddenly stopped and look at the floor.
"It is good that parents are trusting our school and letting their children come there to educate" I said
"What happened? What is bothering you Ric?" I asked again with anger in my tone.
"TheMikealson'sarecomingbacktoenrollHopeMikealsondaughterofKlausandHayley" he said in a fast and confusing tone
"RIC" I finally yelled
"The Mikealson's are coming back to enroll Hope Mikealson daughter of Klaus and Hayley" Ric finally said it in a slow and cautious manner.
I froze from his statement, before I could react the door to my office opened and Damon my husband stepped in.
"Hey babe" he said
"Hey" I in a barely whispered tone
"What is happened?" Damon asked as he saw Ric standing there and my mood was off.
Before Ric could say I said "The Mikealson's are coming back to enroll the daughter Hope to Salvatore Boarding school"
Damon expression changed for loving to anger and said "How dare they even think of coming back to Mystic Falls after what they did to you?"
"Damon Calm down" I said standing up and placing my hand on this chest tryingto calm him down.
And it helped "How dare they?" He said calming down.
"I is not Hope's falt for what her parents did. That will be unfair to her" I said realizing.
"But it will remind you about your part" Ric said
"I don't care about Klaus anymore. I am in love with my husband and my kids" I said
"Sof" Damon was about to say something but I cut him of and said "Damon I love you. You are my solemate according to grandpa. I'll always love you and our kids and I will never leave you" I said and kissed him to calm down.
"You don't know what you do to me even after 14 years together" he said and kissed me back, which made me giggle.
"OKAY, I need to go" Ric said and dashed towards the door to leave.
"What happened to Ric?" I asked Damon looking at the door.
"He is just jealous that I have a beautiful wife like you" Damon said which again made me giggle.
"Damon... don't be mean" I acted to be angry and slapped him on his shoulder.
"Damon, we have to tell the kids. About the Mikealson's return." I said looking at him in the eyes.
"I know. But remember I am always there for you even when you don't want me" Damon said looking into my eyes.
"Damon I will never leave you and our kids. I'll always love you no matter what" I said and hugged him
He also wrapped his arms around me and I left like I am home. I always love the warmth and love Damon gives me.
We stayed, our arms wrapped around each other for a long time enjoying each other's warmth.
