It was a bit later in the fall, a couple months before I started dating James, and a couple months now since my last Dr. Read encounter, which again was just fine. Jace had convinced single me to go to a blind date night organized at a lounge called ‘In the Dark’. This was a place following a new trend of eateries and lounges operating in complete darkness, leaving patrons to focus solely on food and conversation, with no physical distractions.
For this night, servers with night vision glasses would seat two singles to a table, bring you drinks, and leave you to your own devices for ten minutes.
