Chapter Nineteen I fixed myself up in the bathroom, the black ruin of my eyes would scare anything I might encounter tonight. I let my hair fall down my back, freedom I could control, then little black dress and I joined John in the hallway outside locked door number one. He unlocked the door with a key and held it open wide, welcoming me to enter ahead of him. The room was slightly smaller than his bedroom and was painted a deep warm blue.
