Chapter Twenty Two
We went to a waterfront restaurant ‘Ancora’ as the sun set over the marina. With Japanese inspired dishes arriving we sipped wine toasting the long day.
“John, how do you know of Gabriel?” We needed the air cleared.
“I know of Gabriel because he has been stalking my community for years.”
“Why, who is he?”
“He was in the same orphanage you were in Ramona as a child, before you were adopted as I told you earlier.”
“What the hell happened to him, why did he come after me, why you?”
