Rose's POV.
After this words left Zachariah's mouth I froze. I was of course lying about doing the deed with Marco. I was actually planning to let him know that we should just be friends. But after seeing the way that Anastasia girl acted I couldn't help but find myself bothered. I found myself wondering if Zachariah liked her as much as she liked him. She was obviously obsessed with him. And she also obviously hated me. When Zachariah said he would be with me forever I couldn't process what he had said. He was joking obviously there was no way he could possibly like me, let alone stand to be with me.
I kept this train of thought until he flipped me round so I was looking right at him, my legs in either side of his body. He kissed my forehead, it felt all tingly and hot wher
