Chapter 7

Zachariah Pov I couldn't help but laugh at Rose, she was fuming. Truth be told, I was watching the entire time. Rose was like a bubble of energy. Even when she was angry and pouting and being upset I couldn't help but smile.  "Zachariah, why are you laughing at me?" she wasn't pouting or angry anymore. She had a hurt expression that made me pull my face straight. "Your acting like a child", I said in my defense. Without another word she turned around and walked toward the kitchen. She came out with a dish of pasta and a cheesecake.  "So. Since you obviously don't appreciate what I've made, it's fine." she said as walked away."I'll eat it all myself." I turned around to see her walking up the stairs. "You're going to eat and entire packet of pasta and a cheesecake by yourself?" I ask without a amused expression on my face. "Yes, you're forbidden to have any", she said. Rose really wasn't joking. I had only ever tasted her cheesecake so I had no idea if she could cook. From the looks of things she was actually upset with me. Maybe it was because I didn't appreciate her efforts. But she wouldn't get an apology from me that ship had sailed. After the maids had finished cleaning I dismissed them from making dinner.  I walked up the stairs, wondering why she was overreacting. As I opened the door I was shocked to see Rose had already eaten a third of the pasta. Thankfully the cake was untouched. "Rose, aren't you being selfish. I don't know why your angry". "Go cook your own food Zachariah, you won't be lucky enough to taste mine", she said, not looking up from the pasta.  I was getting irritated now. She obviously didn't know who I was, the amount of disrespect in her voice was enough to get any other person killed. "Rose. I'm warning you" I walled slowly toward her making sure she heard my every word, I bent over whispering her ear, " if you were someone else... You would have been for long dead". I knew my voice was extremely cold, but she wouldn't learn if she wasn't taught. "Will you kill me Zach?" she asked me. She looked extremely sad. I expected fear not tears. "Yes Rose. I would if you don't learn your place". With that I turned around, not wanting to see her reaction.  "Hey Zachariah Gabriel", Rose called my full name behind me, " have some pasta." I turned around and saw a clump of pasta landing right at my face. Luckily most of it landed by my mouth, so I just licked it.  "Holy s**t Rose, this pasta is f*****g delicious." I said in surprise. It was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. Even though I was suppose be mad, the pasta was so good I wanted a lot more.  I walked up to her snatching the bowl of pasta out of her hands. "Rose, you have to share." I tried to compromise, "I promise I won't kill you". "No, you can't have." she said. Taking the bowl away from me. "Rose. Why are so mad? You're being ridiculous, you know what, you're lucky I don't send you home to be murdered by my drug addict, murdering, r****t cousin, whom you so kindly helped", I shouted at her.  "R-r****t?" she questioned, her eyes were wide with fear. "Yes Rose, r****t", I shouted at her, " but seeing how ungrateful your acting and how much  if a brat you are, I should just send you home". "I helped a murdered". She said, mostly to herself. "Jeez Rosaria, you can never say no can you", she chuckled dryly to herself. She brought her knees to her face and huddled in a ball. "Just send me home, Zachariah, whatever happens is what I deserve", she said softly. She put the pasta and cheesecake down in front of me before getting up and walking to the bathroom.
