Rose's POV.
When I woke up again Zachariah was already gone. I immediately went to the servants quarters to find the maid who changed me.
After asking around for a full hour I found a maid named Maria. I didn't Beat around the bush and got straight to the point.
"Maria, did you notice anything well changing me last night?" I asked, hiding my anxiousness with curiosity.
"No miss, you have a nice tattoo of a rose though, and the quote was nice as well", she said with a smile. I smiled back and meekly relied with a thank you.
I was internally relieved, she didn't see the scars. I should have known, if she did she would have told Zachariah already. I let out a breath before walking back to my room. I was really tired and just needed to sleep.
