Sunlight seeped into the grand room, illuminating the king sized bed where two bodies lay. The room was filled with the sounds of birds chirping and waves in the distance as the curtains swayed gently in the cool breeze that swept into the room. Jane stirred, her head throbbing with pain. She let out a quiet hiss from the pain in her head and the burn of the bright light when she opened her eyelids. Feeling a slight discomfort, Jane raised her hand to cover her eyes, but couldn’t because something was pining it down. Forcing her eyes open, she took in her surroundings and turned slightly, letting out a gasp.
