Jane gasped, stumbling back in shock and confusion at what she just heard Liam say.
“Vera?” Ethan called out.
The room turned quiet and Jane knew they must have heard her. Not hesitating, she turned and ran back in the direction she had come from, into her room.
‘What did they mean by that?’ She thought, confusion clouding her thoughts.
