Unbelievably, I slept like a baby—as did Cassie. I woke with the first beam of sunshine peeking through her heavy curtains. Stretching made me aware of the male body pressed against my back emitting luxurious heat. Far from a morning person, I’d never enjoyed the feel of morning wood against my a*s before. The hard length of Reid though lit a fire in the soreness between my legs and set my heart to racing, regardless of how our night together had abruptly ended.
