Rowan wasn't sure why he was so nervous about the date he planned. It wasn't as if he had never spent any time alone with Ylana. Perhaps it was because this was the first time where he was actually trying to impress her.
Halloween had been just the two of them having a little bit of fun. This was a chance for Rowan to show how romantic he could be. The problem was, he'd never been romantic with anyone before. All previous dates had been blind dates with shifter women. Once he and the date realized they weren't mates, it usually became an awkward dinner.
It was going to be so different with Ylana. He needed to show her how much she mattered. He wanted her to feel like she could fall in love with him.
