Chapter 9

Aria's POV :

Correctly at 8 pm I got a call from Lizzy that she is outside of my mansion. I and Emma wore our shoes and went downstairs. We walked out of mansion and went in Lizzy's car. Mia was already in car. Lizzy was wearing a black dress and Mia was wearing green dress. Lizzy started driving towards Veronica's house. We reached there in 10 minutes. Her house was filled with so many people.

We went in and everyone started to look at us. I am feeling really uncomfortable. It's like they are judging us. We went in the kitchen. I was talking to my friends when someone whispered in my ear. I jumped at sudden voice and turned around to see Xander. Of course he is here it's his friend's party. I greeted him. I get really nervous around him. He was going to say something but someone wrapped their arms around him from back. I saw it's Veronica.

Xander's Pov :

I didn't go to school today, because my dad wanted to accompany him for a meeting. I love to attend business meetings with my dad. I am future CEO of Johnson & Co. Since I was a child, I always wanted to be like my dad. He is hard working and great businessmen. Even he is hard working, he would still make out time for us. He treat my mom like a queen. They love each other so much. He loves us so much. He always says ' every men's first priority should be his family, money can come and go but family is more important'.

We came from meeting until 6 pm. I went upstairs in my room. Just then my phone started to ring. I saw it's Austin.

" Hey dude you are coming to Veronica's party right?" He said. I forgot about it.

" Yes I will be there" I said.

" Ok dude be there at 8 pm" He said and hung up. I sighed.

I didn't see my angel today. And of course I will not see her at Veronica's party. Because she will never attend a party. I went downstairs and saw my parents sitting on couch. My dad has his hand around mom and he is saying something in her ear. She is giggling at what he is saying. I rolled my eyes at them.

" Guys " I yelled. They didn't even flinch. Dad just smirked at me and mom hide her face in dad's chest. He kissed her forehead.

" Don't be jealous son. Someday you and your girl will be in our place" He said. I smirked at that.

" So how's Aria and when are you going to ask her out" Mom asked me.

" I don't know mom. Everytime I talked to her she runaway like I am going to kidnap her" I sighed.

" Oh my baby. You should talk to her like a gentleman and ask her out. We girls love boys who treat us like a queen, who give us respect" Mom said and looked at dad. They are looking at each other in love and adoration.

" Ok mom dad I am going to Veronica's house. She is throwing a party" I told them and went upstairs in my room. I changed into red t-shirt and blue jeans.



I went downstairs. I walked out my house and went in garage. I hopped on my Harley Davidson and speed of to Veronica's house. I parked my baby and went inside of the house. So many people were inside. I pushed aside sweaty bodies and went near the kitchen. I saw Austin, Ethan and Alex was standing there. I went near them and we started talking. Suddenly everyone started to look at door. I looked there and froze. There stood my Angel. Looking beautiful in her red dress. Everyone is looking at them, I want to rip their eyes who are looking at my angel.

" You should close your mouth before fly went inside" Ethan whispered in my ear. He smirked at me. I looked back at where she was and saw her and her friends walking towards us. She and her friends came and stood in kitchen beside us. I think she didn't notice me yet. So many boys are still looking at her, I gave them a glare they turned their eyes. I went near my angel and leaned near her ear.

" Hello Angel" She jumped at my voice and slowly turned around. Oh god she is looking like a goddess.

" Hey Xander" She said. I shivered at how she said my name. She is biting her lower lip which she does when she gets nervous. Call me creep but I know everything about her.

I was going to say something but someone hugged me from behind. I turned around and saw Veronica. Deja Vu. I gently pushed her hands away from my body. She just smirked. Then she turned towards Aria.

" Hey guys I am glad you came" Veronica said smiling. Something is not right. Veronica is never sweet with anyone.

" Yeah we were so excited to come here" Lizzy I think her name said.

"That's great enjoy the party" Veronica told them and walked away. I looked at Aria and saw her looking towards Veronica in confusion. I leaned near her ear.

" What happened Angel" I whispered in her ear. She jumped at my voice and looked at me with wide eyes. She just shook her head.
