Chapter 14

Aria's POV :

I went downstairs and saw Janet in kitchen. She didn't notice me that's good. I went outside quietly. I went in near d**g store and brought morning pill for Mia. I went in her house. Janet was talking on phone. I tiptoed upstairs in Mia's room. I gave her the pill and glass of water.

After sometime finally Mia fell asleep. I am feeling really bad for Mia. I have never seen her crying. She has always been strong in four of us. I went downstairs. I saw Janet in the kitchen making pancakes. When she noticed me on stairs, she smiled at me.

"Dear where is Mia? Why didn't she come with you?" She asked me.

"Oh Mia fell asleep. She said she is not hungry" I said hesitate. I can't even look in her eyes while lying.

"It's ok come here and eat" Janet said and set a plate of pancakes in front of me.



It's looking yummy. I started eating like a starving person. Janet is really good cook.

After eating I bid bye to Janet and went out of the house. Just then my phone rang. I saw it's Xander. A smile came across my face.

' Hello Xander! You were going to call at 7 pm. It's 3 pm. Now' I said.

' I know but I wanted to hear your voice' He said. I chuckled lightly.

' Why did you call Xander' I asked.

' Just as I said I wanted to hear your voice' He said.

' What are you doing Angel" Xander asked.

' I was actually at Mia's house. Now I am going home' I said.

' Wait don't go home! Meet me in Justin's Cafe' He said.

' Why' I asked confused.

' Just do as I say Angel. Ok bye!' He said and hung up the phone.

I went in my car and started driving towards Justin's Cafe. I parked my car and went inside. I sat down on the table beside the window. After few minutes Xander came in cafe. When he saw me, his face lit up. He came near me and sat across my seat.

" Now say why did you call here" I asked.

" I wanted to see you. Let's order something. What do you want to eat?" He said.

" I just ate at Mia's house" I said.

" Ok then coffee? " He asked.

" Yes I would like coffee" I said.

He called the waiter. I was looking at him when he was giving order. I never knew Xander is such a gentleman. I am lucky to have him. Alex is also his friend but he is so different than Xander. Xander's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

" Angel were you dreaming about me?" He asked playfully.

" You wish" I said and smiled. We started talking about random things. Just then Alex and his Sasha came inside the cafe. They were holding hands. I want to beat him to death for hurting my best friend. He and Sasha came near our table and sat down on remaining seats.

" Xander what are you doing here? And who is she?" Sasha asked looking at me in disgust.

" That's my girlfriend Sasha and you don't have any right to look at her like that" Xander said clenching his jaw. I hold his hand and give it a squeeze. When he looked at me, his eyes softened.

" Oh chill Xander. She doesn't look like a girl you would date. You know which girl will be good for you ? someone like me" She said l*****g her lips. WTH her boyfriend is beside her and she is openly flirting with my guy. Alex just ignored them like it's nothing. But I will not ignore it, he is my guy.

" You know what Sasha, I don't think Xander need a girl like you who can't be loyal to her boyfriend. The girl who doesn't respect her relationship. So I am better for him. Because I can't even look at another guy because I have my guy" I said smirking.

She is looking at me gaping like a fish. Xander is looking at me with amusement in his eyes and Alex is smirking still looking in his phone.

" Baby you're not going to say anything to her?" She asked Alex whining like a female dog.

" Shut up Sasha" He said without looking at her. I don't think he respects any woman. She just pouted.

After sometime waiter returned with our order. Alex and Xander started talking about stuff. Sasha was glaring at me like I killed her cat. I also gave her glare. She averted her gaze. Ha coward.

" Bye dude we are going. Let's go Angel" Xander said and we went out of the Cafe. I was walking beside Xander when suddenly he stopped and pulled me towards him by holding my waist.

" Baby that was hot" Xander said. I looked at him in confusion.

" The way you said my guy. That was really hot" He said. I can feel my face is getting red. Looking at my face he smirked.

" I wanted to kiss you so bad" He said smirking. Oh god now my face is beetroot red.

" Then why don't you" I challenged him. From where this sudden confidence came.

He leaned in and crashed his lips on mine. I was melting in his arms. I wrapped my hands around his neck. We forgot about our surrounding. It's like we are in our own world.

I was the one to broke our kiss. We were trying to catch our breath. He smiled and pecked on my forehead.

" Tomorrow is Saturday. We don't have school, so do you want to hangout with me" He asked.

" I am sorry I can't because Saturday night is family night. Every Saturday night we watch movies or do something fun" I said.

" Ok then Sunday?" He asked giving me puppy eyes. Oh no one can resist this look. I nodded at him. He smiled and kissed me again. Oh I love his kisses.

" Bye Angel" He said and hopped on his Harley Davidson. He speed off.

I went in my car and started driving towards my house.
