“I’ll leave while she gets dressed.” He rushed out of the woods, without glancing once.
“Do you think he’s gay or a virgin?” Roxy tapped her finger against her chin. “What kind of college-aged guy acts like that? Most men would have been examining Sadie like she was their favorite type of chocolate. Their tongues would be hitting the side of their face or something.”
“Or he could have manners.” Katherine shook her head and sighed. “There are still some gentlemen out there.”
“Really?” Lillith shrugged. “I kind of agree with Roxy.”
“You all know I can still hear you,” Egan complained. “I’m not even ten feet away.”
“Your point?” Roxy winked at me.
“Is it even worth a response?” He groaned. “I was being respectful.”
