"You and Dal okay Ash?" Two said as he climbed in through the window and sat on my bed. Why 'Ash'? Of all times to irritate me. I knew he knew I found it funny really. That's why he said it.
"Depends what you class as okay? In my books? I'd say no." I was going to carry on but Two-bit interrupted.
"What he do to you?!" He half said, half yelled.
"Nothing, nothing." I started. Then I mumbled "He only kissed Iona in front of me."
"He did what?!" Two screamed standing up from my bed.
"Two. Calm down. He kissed Iona..." Twobit interrupted me again.
"His ex? Ex Iona?" I nodded and carried on.
"He kissed her back and when I asked him why he said 'Do you expect me to turn down a good kiss?" I started crying in the corner. I pressed my back against the wall and buried my head into my knees. I felt Two put his arm around me and then he softly whispered,
"You know what Dal's like. I'm sure he didn't mean it. Still he hurt you. Don't trust anyone who hurts you. You don't know how amazing you are, and he obviously doesn't either. You're so funny and you don't know it. Like when you have your little rants about me calling you 'Ash,' things like that. Dally will always be like that. I know he loves you he just doesn't know how to show it." When Two said that, I swear, my heart melted.
"Awe. I love you, Keith." He hit me lightly on the arm.
"Watch it you!" He said laughing.
I snuggled up into his arm, then I heard Two say, "Love you too." I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and I fell asleep. My head resting on his shoulder and my arms wrapped around his waist. It was warm and felt perfect. I never felt anything towards to apart from brotherly love. That was still the same now.

I woke up to my dad hitting me with a pillow. s**t! I still had my arms wrapped around Two-bit and my head was still on his shoulder. s**t! "Asha! What on earth are you doing?!" My dad yelled.
"Well basically I was upset last night so Two-bit, here, came and comforted me and, unfortunately for me, I fell asleep." I tried to say as calmly as I could. My dad gets angry way too quickly.
"I thought we told you not to see Keith anymore?! And what about that Dallas kid? Does he know about this?!" Dad made funny gestural movements with his hands towards Twobit.
"I know but, as I said, he was comforting me. Plus, there's nothing going on with Dally. Marci was being stupid."
"Don't call your sister stupid!" Dad started walking out. When he got to the door he turned around and said, "I want him out by the time I come back up." I nodded and he left.
I turned to Two, "I'm so sorry. My dad is stupid."
"It's okay. Nicer than most folk around here."
"That's true." I was lucky to have parents who didn't beat me. I mean I didn't feel loved by my dad but he didn't beat me. I wasn't like Johnny, who was either invisible or getting hit. Or Dally whose parents didn't care.
Me and Two sat on my bed talking for a bit, I completely forgot about my dad. When I heard his footsteps coming up the stairs I was shocked. "Two! Get out the window!" I scream whispered. He didn't need telling twice and I was sat on my bed reading by the time my dad came in.
