Daniella experienced something strange, she recognised the same man that she was captivated by at first, the scent hits Daniella. It was an alpha heir of a kingdom, and Daniella recognized it instantly: The scent of Alpha Kalen, the heir to the Shadow Moon pack, a pack known for its ruthless ambition and its long-standing feud with the Silver Fang pack. A mix of dread and intrigue washed over Daniella.
Kalen raises his head, his eyes locking with Daniella's pull towards him, a forbidden attraction that defied the animosity between their packs.
Daniella was actually happy to see him but also not happy because she didn't expect him to the enemy themself
She knew she would need to think fast but she wants peace. She needed to focus on the safety and diplomacy, especially since his pack is known for it's ruthlessness.
Daniella attempts to de-escalate the situation, seeking a peaceful resolution to avoid bloodshed. "Kalen,"
Daniella says, her voice neutral but firm.
"You are trespassing on Silver Fang territory. State your business, or leave."
Kalen studies her, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"I am not here to cause trouble, Princess Daniella,"
Kalen replies, his voice surprisingly calm.
"I was wounded in a skirmish with rogues, and I sought refuge in your territory. I meant no disrespect."
Daniella assesses him, her mind racing. She sees the truth in his words, the weariness in his eyes, the pain etched on his face. Despite their packs' animosity, she can't bring herself to leave him to suffer.
"I can't just walk away"
Daniella thinks to herself
Daniella sighs, her sense of compassion overriding her better judgment. "I am the princess,I am a princess and I would not let him die, that is not what rulers do" Daniella thinks.
Daniella offers Kalen assistance, tending to his wounds and providing him with safe passage out of Silver Fang territory. "I will help you, Kalen," Daniella says, her voice sincere. "But you must promise to leave Silver Fang territory immediately and never return without permission."
Kalen nods, his eyes meeting Daniella's. "I give you my word, Princess," Kalen replies, a hint of gratitude in his voice. "I will repay your kindness one day."
Daniella tends to Kalen's wounds, using her knowledge of herbal remedies to soothe his pain and stop the bleeding. She helps him to his feet, supporting his weight as they walk towards the edge of Silver Fang territory.
"Why are you doing this?" Kalen asks, his voice puzzled. "We are enemies. I would expect you to leave me to die."
"Perhaps I'm a fool," Daniella replies, a wry smile gracing her lips. "But I believe that even enemies deserve compassion. Besides, I dream of a day when our packs can live together in peace."
Daniella pauses at the edge of the forest. "I will wait for you someday", Daniella said to herself,
The air crackles between them, the weight of their packs' history overshadowed by the undeniable spark between them.
Daniella gazes into Kalen's eyes, her heart pounding in her chest. She knows this is forbidden, dangerous, but she can't resist the pull. She steps closer, her hand gently touching his face.
"Be safe, Kalen," Daniella whispers, her voice barely audible. "And remember... compassion is not weakness."
Kalen leans in, his lips brushing against Daniella's. It's a brief, fleeting kiss, a stolen moment of intimacy that defies the hatred between their packs. Then, he pulls away, his eyes filled with a mixture of longing and regret.
"I will never forget you, Daniella,"
Kalen says, his voice husky.
"Perhaps one day, our paths will cross again, under different circumstances."
With a final look, Kalen turns and disappears into the forest, leaving Daniella standing alone at the edge of the border, her heart filled with a mixture of hope and sorrow. As she touches her lips she thinks if she will meet him again.
She wanted to ensure that Kalen's efforts to safely return to his kingdom will be successful, since he might get attacked again.
Daniella knew she was playing with fire, but she could not resist the urge to ensure Kalen safety. Dismissing the consequences, and giving in to her heart, Daniella secretly follows Kalen, keeping a safe distance and using her skills to avoid detection.
She watches as Kalen navigates the treacherous terrain, his movements slow and labored due to his injuries. Several times, he is forced to fend off rogue wolves, his strength waning with each encounter. She watches him and thinks to herself, that Kalen must arrive to his kingdom safe.
Daniella is ready to intervene should Kalen faces imminent danger, she remains hidden, her heart pounding in her chest. After what feels like an eternity, Kalen finally reaches the border of Shadow Moon territory, collapsing from exhaustion as he crossed the boundary
As Kalen collapses, a flicker of movement catches his eye. He looks up, his eyes widening in surprise as Daniella steps out of the shadows. "Daniella?"
Kalen gasps, his voice hoarse.
"What are you doing here? You could have been killed!"
"I couldn't leave you to fend for yourself,"
Daniella replies, her voice soft but firm.
"I had to make sure you were safe."
Kalen stares at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and disbelief. He pulls her into a hug, his arms wrapping tightly around her.
"You are reckless, Daniella," .Kalen whispers, his voice trembling. "But I am grateful. I don't know what I would have done without you."
They are both aware of the weight of their decision, of the risks they are taking by being together. But in that moment, they don't care. They are simply two wolves, drawn together by a forbidden attraction, their hearts beating in unison.
Kalen, consumed by a wave of emotion, pulls Daniella into a passionate kiss,
his lips claiming hers with fierce intensity. Daniella responds in equal measure, her arms wrapping around his neck, their bodies pressed tightly together.
There is a pregnant silence between them, and Daniella is waiting for something to happen.Daniella is still very anxious and she needs to calm herself down. "Maybe we should go back"Daniella said, still facing him.
Daniella and Kalen's packs is on the line, the world they know may never be the same and it may get worse."I don't think we can unite both of the kingdoms,it seems impossible, my dad is very stubborn",Daniella said.
"Perhaps," Kalen finally speaks, his voice full of worry. "We should keep it a secret, for now,we should go back,We'll see what the best solution is".
The consequences that lay ahead, she is now prepared for them, whatever decision, she would face it.With that, I propose we return to our respective packs and act as though nothing has happened. If we're careful, we might buy ourselves some time to figure out a more permanent solution."
Daniella nods slowly, her heart heavy. "It's the only way," she says, her voice barely audible. "But I fear this secret will tear us apart."
With a final, lingering kiss, Daniella and Kalen part ways, each returning to their respective territories with a secret that could ignite a war between their packs. After that they departed
Daniella then enters the chamber,
"I will do everything I can to find peace"
Daniella added.
Daniella then seeks out her mother, Queen Lyra, her heart pounding in her chest. She finds her mother tending to her herb garden, the familiar scent of lavender and chamomile offering a brief moment of comfort. She then reveals her affair, with the alpha to Lyra.
Queen Lyra listens intently, her expression shifting from concern to sadness. When Daniella finishes her story, Lyra sighs, her eyes filled with worry.
"I feared this might happen, Daniella," Lyra says softly.
"Your heart is too open, too compassionate."
Lyra's eyes soften with understanding.
"You have always followed what you believe,my love. As a mother,as a queen, and as a protector, I cannot force you to choose what you don't want, all I can do is embrace, protect and love what you choose." Lyra said,
While Daniella and her mother share a tender moment,Elma lurks in the shadows, her eyes blazing with jealousy and resentment. She had been drawn to the sound of their voices, her curiosity piqued by their hushed tones. As she eavesdrops on their conversation, her heart fills with a mixture of anger and satisfaction.
"So, the precious princess has fallen in love with the enemy,"
Elma thinks, a cruel smile gracing her lips.
"This could be just what I need to finally get rid of her."
Seizing the opportunity, Elma slips away unnoticed, her mind racing with schemes and machinations. She knows that her father, King Theron, will be furious when he learns of Daniella's betrayal.
"This time, Daniella, you've gone too far," Elma mutters to herself.
"You've given me the perfect weapon to destroy you."
With a sense of twisted glee, Elma heads towards the throne room, determined to reveal Daniella's secret and unleash her father's wrath.
"Father will do everything so you can change, and it is not going to be so good,"
She thinks...
