Marie awoke to an odd sensation on her hand and realized it was Bailey’s tongue in full licking action. She also saw the heel of a foot next to her shoulder and noticed Isabella’s head at the foot of the air mattress. Isabella certainly was correct in the fact that she was all over the place when she slept. As she carefully rolled to a sitting position and rubbed Bailey’s head, Marie stood up and began her morning routine.
Within a half hour, she heard movement from upstairs and the sound of footsteps on the floors. Marie had coffee brewing and the pre-made egg casserole baking in the oven.
