Willow I'm stunned into silence at his raw confession in the presence of Jessica and her minions. I don't utter a single word when he grabs my hand and leads me out of the classroom and out of the school. He helps me into the passenger seat of his car, shutting the door behind me and jogging to the other side before slipping in. “Here,” he murmurs, handing me a handkerchief before turning away from me. I grip the soft material of the handkerchief, dabbing slowly at the slimy egg mixture on my face, my eyes still glued to him.
